Kinetic Art
Term used to describe art incorporating real or apparent movement. The idea was first introduced in the 1920s but reached its height of popularity during the 1950s and 1960s. kinetic art may be quite simple[such as Jean Tinguely’s motor-operated sculptures]. The term may also be applied to works of art that use light effects to give the viewer the illusion of movement.
