The Racing Car

A  foreigner man came to me with his small book in his collection : He opened the book to the page of a red car and told me to paint it with Oil On Canvas, 80 x 100 cm. Size ; he had to leave Thailand in the 6 days next, and I had to finished it in 4-5 days, waiting for him to take it in the morning of the sixth day before his going back to his country.

I started my work with the rough outline of a car by burnt sienna, painted Cadmium Red Hue for the car,  mixed Ivory black with the Pussian Blue for the deep shadow, and after that was the process of colour compositon :

Yellow, Red and Blue.

The background was created for the curved road :  The trees was arranged for the imagination of the widely lawn, and the blue sky with the slight red colour of the car was made for the strength feeling :  The racing car and its going against the wind.
